How to Order

Brief words about ordering process - this is currently being upgraded. I apologize for any inconvenience - hopefully the end result will be more user friendly but in the meantime I apologize for any inconsistencies.

First, if you experience any difficulties, email me immediately. There's nothing worse than needing a script urgently and being foiled by a computer! I will always respond well within 24 hours - often immediately, if I am sitting in front of the screen! So please don't hesitate to contact me on sue@plays-r-ussell.com rather than let 'the system beat you'! 

Secondly and most importantly, I now, on receipt of an order, send the script off myself, immediately, as email attachment - both  pdf and word document so that teachers can edit the script to their specific requirements. This ensures there is minimal delay and guaranteed delivery of script.  

How to Order Instructions:

1. On the very first page of the website (Home Page), go to Categories Panel to the left and click on Catalogue.

2. You then have a choice of either clicking on the 2 pictures with text UK Catalogue and USA Catalog; or clicking on UK Catalogue or USA Catalog in the left hand panel.

3. If you click on UK Catalogue, the next page shows you my complete collection (this is a long list!). To proceed to looking at the products themselves, either click on the links as indicated at the top of the catalogue list:

I   Assemblies

II  Guided Reading Playscripts

III Performance Poems

IV  Quizzes & Jokes

or go to the left hand panel again and click on the links there.

4. If you click on Assemblies, the next page shows you the different subjects e.g. Geography, History, Literature, PSHE, RE, Science, Sport and Calendar Dates.

5. If you click on History, you will see the scripts available, and by scrolling down to the pictures, you can choose the one you want.

6. If you click on Ancient Egypt, you will see a page of sample text; you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see a set of options from which you need to choose one. These are performing rights - the first box is for plays being performed in classroom i.e. without an audience; the second box is for performance in front of a non-paying audience, for which there is a charge of 15 pounds; the third box is for performance in front of a paying audience, for which there is a charge of 30 pounds. These charges are in addition to the cost of the script and will be automatically added on when you click on the appropriate box.  Then click on 'Add to cart'.

7. To add another script, click on 'Continue Shopping' and go through above process again.

8. Click on 'Check out'. You then have 3 options - as a returning customer, as a new customer, or proceeding without an account.

9. To take the second & third option (which are the same apart from no records being kept for the latter option) click on Create Account, fill in the details as requested, and then click on continue (after opening email as instructed and following instructions). If the address already given is OK for shipping purposes, press continue - otherwise press change of address and add appropriate address. Then click on Continue at the bottom of the page.

10. You should then be back on page with Return Customer, New Customer and Proceed Directly to Checkout. Log in as Return Customer and sign in.

11. On page with Delivery Information, click on Continue.

12. On the Payment Method page, you click on continue (paying through Paypal).

13. Then you confirm order, which then takes you to Processing Transaction. You then have 2 options - to pay by credit card or to pay by PayPal (if you have a Paypal account). If you don't have a PayPal account, click on continue (alongside Don't Have a PayPal account).

13. You then Review Payment and 

14. Click on Pay Now and continue. This will take you back to the site where you will read Your Order had been Processed! Click on Print Invoice if you wish, followed by Continue.

15. Finally, you can either download straight away by clicking on black button or you have the option of downloading your products at a later time (by clicking on My Account).

This should be it! If not, or you encounter any difficulties, please do not hesitate to email me on sue@plays-r-ussell.com and I will deal with the problem straightaway. Please do not give up! And remember - the script will be emailed to you, from me, once your payment details have been given, so there will be minimal delay and you will have the advantage of being able to work with a word document.
