Berners-Lee:   The world wide web! Correct!

Narrator:         Wow! Now I am impressed! Just look at how you have changed our lives!

Child 7:           We can get any information we want on line.

Child 8:           No more spending hours in the library looking for the right book!

Child 9:           We can contact people around the world

Child 10:         Without using a postage stamp!

Child 11:         We can get information instantly.

Child 12:         We can contact people instantly.

Child 13:         Everything is just so fast!

Child 14:         And there’s so much of it!

Narrator:         (Clutching head) Oh, I think I’m having a funny turn! Everything’s spinning!

(Two inventors rush over and offer Narrator their seats)

Caxton:           Here. Sit down.

Berners-Lee:   I think it’s all been a bit too much for you.

Narrator:         Oh no! There I go – ruining the moment! This is meant to be about you!

Caxton:           But we still need each other.

Berners-Lee:   Computers can’t do everything!

Narrator:         (Looking confused) But I thought they could!

Berners-Lee:   No.

(Berners-Lee walks over to the cast)

Berners-Lee:   Perhaps we’d better explain, right?

(Whole cast nods in agreement)

Berners-Lee:   There are some things computers can’t do, right?

(Whole cast nods in agreement)

Berners-Lee:   Like?

Child 15:         Enjoying each other’s company.

Child 16:         Talking to each other.

Child 17:         Sharing good times.

Child 18:         Smiling!

Child 19:         Laughing!

Child 20:         Running around

Child 21:         Kicking a ball

Child 22:         Breathing fresh air

Child 23:         Walking in the countryside

Child 24:         Swimming in the sea

Child 25:         Having fun with our friends

Child 26:         Having fun with our family

(Child 27 walks over to William Caxton, and opens a book to read together)

Child 27:         And?

William Caxton:         Yes! Nothing beats enjoying a good book together!
