Snow White Class Play or Assembly for Key Stage One.Sample Text:

Narrator:             And so we return to Snow White’s new home – where she is of course busy doing household chores whilst the dwarfs are out working.

(Enter Snow White, sweeping floor)

Snow White:       (Sighing) This really isn’t much fun.

(Sound of knocking at the door)

Snow White:       (Exclaiming) Thank goodness! Anything’s better than housework!

(Enter Wicked Queen disguised as old lady – whole cast boos and hisses)

Wicked Queen:  Ah! These laces would be so pretty on you!

Snow White:       Oh, thank you!

(Wicked Queen ties them round her waist – and pulls tight)

Wicked Queen:  Nice and tight!

(Snow White gasps and falls to the ground)

Wicked Queen:  (Shouting triumphantly) Aha! No more beautiful Snow White!

(Exit Wicked Queen, leaping around in joy)

Narrator:             Unfortunately for our wicked queen, Snow White was rescued

(Enter Clumsy, tripping over Snow White and then bending over her, releasing laces; Snow White sits up and walks off happily with Clumsy, arm in arm)

(As Snow White and Clumsy ‘walk off’ all dwarfs stand up, wagging their fingers at Snow White)

All Dwarfs:          (Together) Don’t talk to strangers!
