Description
Fruit Assembly Key Stage One (KS1)
Fruit Assembly Key Stage One (KS1) or class play could be used to introduce children to healthy eating habits – the first of a series on healthy living.
This script lists 25 fruits – more can of course be added on; and it has an additional five cast members taking the cast size to 30. This number can be easily increased or decreased.
Duration is around 10 minutes – again, easily adaptable up or down depending on amount of information given on the different fruits.

Banana: Nah! Bananas have it! Monkeys can’t all be wrong!
Blackcurrant: No! Blackcurrants are the best. Think Ribena!
Cherry: Or Cherries – perfect in the summer!
Coconut: Coconuts have it all. You can use the shell
(Demonstrates clip clopping sound of two halves knocked together)
Or eat the inside – or even drink the milk!
Narrator: Wow! That is one versatile fruit!
Date: (Flirtatiously) Nah. Come for a date with me! You’ll find me sweeter than all this lot put together!
