Boxer: Watch me boxing! Women can take part in this sport now!
Homer: (Exploding) Outrageous!
Wrestler: Watch me wrestling!
Judo Olympian: Watch me performing Judo!
Taekwondo Olympian: And me, Taekwondo!
Weightlifter: Watch me lift these weights! (Grunting) Mustn’t, mustn’t drop them!
(Exit Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, Taekwondo and Weightlifting Olympians)
(Enter Leonidas)
Leonidas: Huh! And what about running? There’s no way this lot would keep up with me!
(Enter Athletes – runners, jumpers, throwers and combined ‘eventers’)
Athletes: (Together) We would!
Runner: Look how fast I can run!
Hurdler: I run and jump!
Relay Runner: I run in a team! (Drops baton) Oops! Mustn’t drop the baton!
Steeplechase Runner: I have to run and jump across water!
Narrator: And just look at what else they can do!
High Jumper: See how high I can jump!
Long Jumper: See how far I can jump!
Triple Jumper: I have to jump three times!
Pole Vaulter: I have to jump using a pole!
Triathlete: I have to do three events in one!
Pent athlete: I have to do five events in one!
Hep athlete: I have to do seven events in one!
Decathlete: I have to do ten events in one!
Discus Thrower: Watch me throw the discus!
(Homer ducking)
Homer: Ooh! Watch out!
Javelin Thrower: Watch me throw the javelin!
Shot Put Thrower: Watch me throw the shot put!
Hammer Thrower: Watch me throw the hammer!
Homer: (Cowering under his hands) No one told me to wear a helmet!
(Recitation of Olympic Ode Chorus)

(Enter Kallipateira)
Kallipateira: Huh! But I don’t see any horses! You should have seen our chariot races!
(Enter Equestrian Team)
Rider 1: Well, our horses may not race but look how well behaved they are!
Rider 2: And look how well they jump!
(Exit Equestrian Team)
Narrator: And what about the Ball Games?
(Enter Ball Games participants, carrying various balls and rackets)
Tennis player: Watch me play tennis!
Homer: (Holding his head again) Oh! Not more missiles!
