Description
12 Week History Timetable lists the following script suggestions. All are taken from the Guided Reading/Readers Theatre collection off www.plays-r-ussell.com – all on sale at half price. They are sets of 5 scripts (1 a day) with a cast of 6 (speakers you can, of course, doubled them up for whatever number is needed) plus a quiz to follow. You can, of course, do these in a different order or choose different scripts – there are at least 20 other sets that can be chosen from.
The idea of these scripts is to deliver information in a fun way – via role-play/plenty of lively banter. I have found this to be a very effective way of ‘teaching by default’ and I hope both teachers and parents alike enjoy these resources at home or at school.
