Aesop Fables – The Goose that Laid the Golden Eggs Sample Text:
Pupil 2: We wanted more! Like a season ticket, more!
Teacher: Hmm. I think you can now see what was going on in your heads?
Pupil 1: You’re right. It was greed.
Pupil 2: Wanting more, a lot more than what we had!
Teacher: And you know something? You’ll probably enjoy that match this weekend all the more, for it being a one-off, something special, something to relish, enjoy every moment of.
Narrator: Yes, I’m sure you’ll appreciate the experience more than your season ticket friend. It’s funny how more is not always better.
Farmer: As we know!
Wife: If only we could turn the clock back.
