Description
The Planets
Lost in space? And no idea where you’re from? Don’t panic! No need to feel alienated – not when you’ve got a spacecraft to take you wherever you please in our solar system. Join our travels through space and find out everything you need to know about where and where not to set up home!
This class play or assembly covers all the planets in our solar system. It is based on the science curriculum for primary/elementary schools and is a fun way for children to learn ‘astronomic’ facts and become familiar with the great classical music of The Planets – Holst.
Also available for this unit , set of 5 guided reading play scripts (Readers Theater) plus quizzes – covering all the Planets of the Solar System – see Guided Reading Play Scripts section; Our Planet Guided Reading Play Scripts; and there is also a class play for younger children (5 – 7 year olds) available – entitled Space Assembly. See UK Catalogue – Key Stage I Assemblies – Science.
